Fenix+ 3 Classic — evacuation and fire dynamics simulation software
We are glad to present you an overview of the Fenix+ 3 Classic! Here we will introduce some of the features and functions of the application.
Welcome
When you start the program, you are greeted with a Welcome page tab. We would like to draw your attention to the large number of demo projects supplied with the Fenix+ 3 Classic. Most of the projects are done by our users. The projects demonstrate how detailed each building can be. Links to various documents and user guides are also always at hand.
Unfortunately, due to the large volume, the simulation results are not included in the distribution. Later we plan to add the ability to download simulation results separately.
Scenarios
The Scenario list is now located in the upper left corner of the application and takes up much less space. Functionally, the Scenario list allows you to track the statuses of calculations, switch between scenarios, stop calculations and perform other functions using the context menu.
Search
Following the Scene editor, we changed the location of the field for searching for objects and now it is located below the scene editor and is always at hand. Search allows you to search for objects of a specific type, as well as exact matches of object names.
Simulation
For the case when a lot of scenarios have been created in the project, we have developed a separate functionality for managing the simulation. Now you can track the statuses of calculations, start or stop them on a separate tab Simulation. On the same tab, you can connect to the Fenix Server, so you can get much more control over the tasks that are being performed at the moment.
If there are few scenarios in the project or you don't want to constantly switch to a separate tab, we have provided a function for quickly launching an active scenario on the main program window.

Evacuation simulation
The new contingent editor allows you to create contingents of people with arbitrary dependence of the speed of movement of people on the flow density.
Waypoints
A waypoint is an element with which you can set an arbitrary path of movement of a person or a group of people. In addition, any door can be a waypoint.
Density map
The display of the map of the density of the flow of people has been implemented, which allows you to visually represent the places of congestion of people.
